Upcoming meetings
The GSMA meets twice a year for continuing education and business meetings. The Annual Conference is held in the spring each year and there is an educational workshop in the fall. These meetings serve as an opportunity to network with other medical assistants across Georgia, participate in growing the GSMA, and to facilitate continuing education credit opportunities.
68th Annual Conference — April 15-18, 2027
The Annual Conference is held in the spring each year around Georgia. This meeting serves as an opportunity to network with other Medical Assistants across the state, participate in growing the GSMA organization, and to facilitate Continuing Education Credit opportunities. Come join us for the 68th Annual Georgia Society of Medical Assistants, Inc. (GSMA) conference at Little Ocmulgee State Park. The conference will be held April 15-18, 2027. The Medical Assistant is a vital part of the healthcare team. Let’s all prepare to make our lives better through fellowship and educational programs that will enhance our own wellness along with that of our patients, while spending time in this beautiful area of nature. Come join us on the walking trails, mini golfing, regular golfing, fishing or just relaxing with our CMAs and other credentialed medical assistants. Lodge rooms are $115.00 per night, and cabins are $290.00 per night plus any taxes or park pass. Cabins have two bedrooms with two beds in each.
